Ontario Arc, 3071 County Complex Drive, Canandaigua, will host its aging symposium, Aging Independent, Not Alone, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 29.
The symposium will feature keynote speaker Laura Robinson from the University of Rochester Medical Center. Topics will include “Impact of Aging on Areas of Independence”; “Emotional and Social Health and Aging: How Pets and Pet Therapy Help Maintain Independence”; “Cognitive Health and Aging: Tips, Tricks and Tools to Help Maintain Independence”; and “Physical Health and Aging: Supports for the Person and Caregiver to Help Maintain Independence.”
