Five students, who just a few years ago wouldn’t have expected to attend college, donned their cap and gown and walked alongside their fellow students at the commencement celebration at Roberts Wesleyan College on May 7. Students, Tyler Davis, James Fortin, Mark Houppert, Dalton Letta and Austin Ritondale are part of the B.E.L.L. Program.

B.E.L.L. (Bridge to Earning, Living, and Learning) is a two-year, inclusive postsecondary certificate program for students ages 18-26 with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are transitioning to adulthood. The program is a partnership among CP Rochester, Monroe 2 Orleans BOCES and Roberts Wesleyan College.
