Special Olympics Torch stops at Ralph Wilson Stadium for the first time | wivb.com

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Ralph Wilson Stadium added a new piece of history to its already long story on Tuesday when the Special Olympics Torch made its way to Orchard Park for the first time ever.

The first-ever visit comes as the Special Olympics prepares to promote the inaugural New York Snowbowl, a six-on-six flag football tournament. That tournament will be hosted at the Ralph next March.

On Tuesday, police officers helped promote the anticipated event, taking turns carrying the torch in a run to the stadium.
