Aging and Developmental Disabilities Seminar

This seminar will discuss various aspects of the challenges faced by Individuals with I/DD in the aging process.

Topics discussed and explored will include:

Medical and Nursing Aspects of Aging for those with Developmental Disabilities;Behavioral and Psychiatric Aspects of  Aging;Issues for Caregivers of Individuals Aging with I/DD;Dementia and I/DD;Dementia and End-of-Life Care Planning.

Pertinent issues such as caregiver stress, grief, and prevention of burnout will also be explored.

This seminar is appropriate for Clinical Staff, Nurses, Behavioral Health Clinicians, MSCs, QIDPs, DSPs, as well as administrative and QA/QI Staff
