The ARC of Genesee and Orleans counties are holding a roundtable tonight to draw attention to issues affecting people with developmental disabilities.ARC leaders are concerned that funding for residential housing, and sheltered workshops could be drastically cut.The event tonight is part of “It Matters to Me,” a statewide grassroots campaign to inform state lawmakers of the importance of the maintain funding for the ARC programs.State Assemblyman Steve Hawley is attending along with State Senator Robert Ortt who is the chairman of the State Senate Developmental Disabilities committee.The roundtable will be held at 6 this evening at the ARC Community Center on Woodrow Road in Batavia.
