Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Full and Part time assistance is needed for our Residential Departments in Amherst, Tonawanda, Kenmore, Getzville and Williamsville locations.

Available Shifts include: 2nd shift, 3rd shift, early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. Valid NYS Driver’s License with acceptable driving history, as determined by the agency. One year cumulative experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.

Rate of Pay: $11.40/hour

Summary of Duties:

Assists in implementation of individual programs. Provides awake supervision of individuals and property during shift hours. Provides a safe, clean environment for all residents. Responsible for ensuring that confidentiality is strictly maintained concerning all agency related information.

All positions require a valid NYS Driver’s License with a good driving record, as determined by the Agency. High school diploma/GED required. One year cumulative experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred. Must become SCIP-R certified (which includes frequent bending at the knee, bending at the waist, grasping, kneeling and getting up from a lying position.) Successful applicants must pass a drug test, criminal background, driving record check, and other state required background checks.

Note: Fourteen (14) day training is required and provided for these positions.
