TEDxBuffalo has chosen the speakers for its Oct. 22 event at Asbury Hall at Babeville.
This will be the first year the event is held in the evening and in downtown Buffalo, a nod to its growing popularity and the desire to expose TEDx to an event bigger Western New York audience.

Danielle Twum, a pre-doctoral candidate at Roswell Park Cancer Institute studying cancer immunology.
Kaitlin Garrity, a Canisius College senior who is studying communications.
Kara Oliver, program specialist at the National Federation of Just Communities of Western New York.
Rebecca Strong, a social artist and movement educator who is the founding director of The Embodied Cosmology Project.
Rhonda Frederick, president and CEO of People Inc.
