The Southtowns is now home to a new Autism Services Resource Center. The ribbon was cut on the facility at 97 Main Street in Hamburg Friday morning.
ASI Executive Director, Veronica Federiconi says, it will provide a respite for families, by offering activities geared for children with autism.

“And then, the other thing is…when parents get that diagnosis for the first time, they don’t know what comes next. So, I’m hoping that we will be able to provide them with the information, in terms of, ‘What do I do next? Where do I go? How do I get services?’ And be that resource along the way.”
Federiconi says, the Resource Center will also serve as a conference center and gathering place for support groups.
