The Museum of disABILITY History will be hosting a special grand opening event for The Lives They Left Behind: Suitcases from a State Hospital Attic | Friday, February 27, 2015 at 6 p.m. The grand opening event is a fundraiser for the Museum of disABILITY History.

Exhibit Runs | February 27 – April 11, 2015.

Book signing with Darby Penney, author of The Lives They Left Behind: Suitcases from a State Hospital Attic Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1 p.m.

A $25 gives you admission to this unique event, including wine, hors d’oeuvres and a discussion by Colleen Kelly Spellecy, chairperson, The Willard Cemetery Memorial Project, Deborah Goldman, Assistant Commissioner of Mental Health for Erie County, and Stephen Nawotniak, author of “Handbook for Healthy Living with a Mood Disorder.”
