NEW EXHIBIT — The Museum of disABILITY History, 3826 Main St., Amherst, will host a new exhibit beginning this month. The exhibit, “The Lives They Left Behind: Suitcases from a State Hospital Attic,” will begin with a grand opening event at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27.

The exhibit details how suitcases were discovered in the attic of a Willard Psychiatric Center building. The suitcases were found after the center, located in the Finger Lakes region, had closed.

The exhibit will be on display until Saturday, April 11. The grand opening event is a fundraiser for the museum. To make a reservation, call 629-3626 or visit http://www.museumofdisability.org.
