Just Dance Challenge for the Special Olympics #specialolympics #justdance

Dear Friends and Family,

It’s not often I get a chance to ask you help me change the world – but that’s what I’m doing today.

For most of history, the world ignored, neglected, and shunned millions of people with intellectual disabilities, even though they were just as human as anyone else, just as worthy of love, respect, and support, and with much to offer society if given the chance. And then just a few decades ago, a movement began to build a more accepting and caring world in which people with such disabilities could find more open doors and open hearts, and lead more fulfilling lives. For more than 50 years, in every corner of the globe, Special Olympics has been leading that movement.

Through sports competition, training, and fitness programs, Special Olympics is creating and expanding opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities, and opening the eyes of the world to their potential and courage. The world’s largest volunteer organization, Special Olympics has ignited a revolution of love, understanding, and compassion – but there’s much work to be done.

That’s why I’ve signed up for the Just Dance Challenge. By doing something I love to do (and having fun), I get to help an organization that’s improving the lives of millions of people. And I’d be tremendously grateful if you would help me do it.

Your contribution to my efforts would mean a great deal to me, and to the heroic athletes of Special Olympics. It’s easy – you can do it right now by just pushing the “Donate Now” button at the top of the page – and it’s tax-deductible, of course.

On behalf of the athletes, their families, millions of volunteers and supporters around the world – and me – Thank You!
